Auto manufacturers find it extremely difficult to sell the current models once they introduce an upgraded model in an Auto Exhibition. Auto manufacturers have been thinking of various ways to boost the sales of the existing models. Dodge has come out with a unique scheme called the Dodge Challenger or Charger Double Up lease scheme. Customers would be given the option of getting an existing Challenger or Charger Dodge on a 1-year lease. Customers making use of this lease option can automatically upgrade to 3 year lease on a new Dodge Challenger or Charger model that would be released in 2015.
The monthly payment would remain the same for the three year lease period. If customers opt to buy the new Dodge models instead of leasing it, they are eligible for a cash incentive of $1,000. Dodge brand head, Tim Kuniskis, informed that this scheme would begin in April 17th, 2014 and would be in force till the month of August 2014. He also gave information on Dodgeas tie up with the car rental provider, Enterprise. Vehicles that come out of the one year lease period would now be directly purchased by Enterprise. Enterprise runs car rental services under different brands including Enterprise and Alamo.
